ESAB used its extensive welding know-how and chose the latest high quality materials to develop an economical range of movable core rectifiers.This resulted in simple units for industrial use at a comparatively low cost with good welding performance. Needless to say,these units also meet European standards.
Welding
The ESABArc d.c.range supplies direct current, making it possible to weld most materials.
As movable core rectifiers,these units have low minimum current, allowing welding with smaller diameter electrodes,which in turn makes it possible to weld thinner materials.
Adjusting welding current
Welding current is easily adjusted by turning the crank on the front of the ESAB ARC,and the set current can be seen in the window on the top.
Transport
Moving the rectifier around the work site is simplified by wheels and a sturdy handle, which is also useful for winding up the cables during transport. Strong eyelets facilitate lifting by crane or other means.
